Marie Noreger is an innovative Norwegian artist celebrated for her unique fusion of R&B, jazz, and electronic soul, exploring themes of authenticity and self-discovery. Her debut EP Gravity established her as a rising singer, featuring experimental jazz-driven rhythms and introspective lyrics that earned her widespread acclaim. This success led to a 2022 Spellemann nomination (Norwegian Grammy) in the Soul/R&B category.

In 2022, she released DDVS (Discodoll in the Velvet Suit), an EP showcasing her soulful, genre-blending style with playful and reflective tracks. Songs from DDVS received airplay on Norway’s NRK P3 radio and were featured in music magazines including Metal and Fame Magazine. Noreger’s work has also been highlighted by international tastemakers such as COLORS and Clash.

Noreger’s collaborative Lonely Dinosaur EP with fellow artist Nedja gained her an international following, particularly in South Africa, where the project resonated widely. This EP, born from spontaneous studio sessions, highlights her creativity and connection with audiences globally. Additionally, their track A Little Shy found success on TikTok.

Her upcoming project is deeply personal, almost like a diary. Continuing her exploration of authenticity and self-expression, this new work promises to be as emotionally rich as it is sonically innovative.
